aaron lost his cord today!!

on 11:19 AM
so aaron is 1 week and 4 days old and lost his cord this morning! i woke up a little bit ago to him squrming and changed his diaper to see his cord gone!

he has been getting better at night w/ the whole crying part probably because he is on just formula now, not going back and forth with breast milk. He has this SUPER cute grin though, he usually shows it after he toots. lol. It is more of a side grin. He is a gassy little fellow though, which is why he fusses i am sure.

I am excited about his blessing! It will be on my 23rd birthday. i want my dad, chris' dad (brother kelsey), bishop wells and bishop wagstaff to do it.

we are gonna have lots of food and cake for both aaron and i. Mathis' immediate family, my family, and my friends are invited. I wish Charity was here to make me a cake! That popcorn bowl idea was totally out of wack!
Wish you were here in general.

Daniel is coming out on the 21st! He made an album called "nephew" on his myspace. lol. he is such a sweet softy inside its cute.

Shannon is coming out my birthday weekend! I am so excited I haven't seen her in so long! Years!

My father is coming out the same weekend so that is exciting! I am happy he will be here to see Aarons blessing and celebrate my 23rd birthday as well. Be a first in a long time.

Lets see...Chris is bringing over his son tomorrow to see me and my mom and Aaron! Haven't seen him in forever either! I had a dream we were hanging out last night so it made me want to actually get in touch with him and hang out a little bit.

My incision is healing really well, probably cause i keep sleeping, the more you sleep the faster your body heals! I feel bad that I have been though because that means my mom is having to watch him but she is loving it. :-D Thanks Mommy!

It is nice to just be home with the baby and have a few people over every few days, otherwise it gets hectic and that isn't something I want right now, so I hope no one is taking offense to that. Just been trying to keep it as calm as possible as we get through the first couple months of transitioning and figuring out Aarons schedule.

I have to say Aaron is very easy so far, he lets you know exactly what he wants. His face sways side to side with mouth open when he is hungry, crunches his face a lot when he has gas, the whole diaper thing is just an instinct of mine and my nose though lol. I've got that down though I think. He grins and smiles a lot to give me that extra boost of energy every time I see it. :-D He is so beautiful.

Anyway, I should finish my roast lunch my mom made last night. It is pretty good!

Much Love,
Christina
